To fulfill its objectives, the Globe Eye Foundation made a humble beginning with the GEF Eye Hospital started in a small rented premises in Hoskote, a town in Bangalore rural district, in 1996. The GEF Eye Hospital, through its commendable service, soon gained wide popularity among its beneficiaries and the need to expand the facility became imminent.
